I play in a field that is just off ARC EDIT its a small place. part open field and part wooded area. Its a fairly decent place with lots of cover.

Its unowned, which makes building a problem. I've built things before with the materials there, and because its unowned there are people who vandalize everything we build so we just use the natural cover.

Not to rain on your parade, but you actually might want to seek some form of legal authorization to game there. None of the major airsofters will "Just" show up to this spot on your word alone. Trust me, search the SEMIA boards and you'll find out. "Just" some friendly advice.

There is already legislation in taylor that places a ban on imitation firearms (airsoft guns) when you are on public property. The only way around this is to play in private property and the only way to play in private property is to get permission from the owner. With you guys using the field without any sor of permission is the kind of garbage that gives our sport a black eye. I'm tempted to tell my Taylor police friends of this activity and I just might. The airsoft community frowns on things like this.

As of right now you are not allowed to use SEMIA to promote using the property that you have mentioned. Regardless of what you say about the property being un-owned, there is absolutely no proof that you have received permission to play on the said property.

It is absolutely not true that the property is not owned by anyone and if it is then go to the city and claim it as yours.

Anyone who posts any more fields without written permission to play there will also get a ban.
