Getting Into Airsoft

Hey Im new hear (obviously) and Im looking into getting into airsoft (obviously ;D) and well, I need help with everything! For starters I was looking into getting a JG G-36C and I have heard good reviews about it but was wondering whether anyone hear had one. Second, I am really unsure of what to get in terms of gear, and for that matter, do I even need to have anything like camo and and tactical vests, etc? Any recommendaions that are fairly cheap? Im also curious about fields around the ann arbor area. I would be willing to drive to Detroit or Toldeo even. Thanks!

Hey man welcome to SEMIA. Sorry it took a while to get back and answer your question.

Anyways to answer your question, the most basic thing you'll need to get started is a gun. The gear can all come later. It's not required but once you really get into it you'll find yourself investing in gear as much if not more than your guns.

I actually own a JG g-36 that I use as a loaner and it has been pretty good for the short time I've had it. It definitely doesn't compare to my Tokyo Marui G-36. If you want quality I would go with Marui but a JG will get you in the game.

There are a ton of games happening all the time. Keep an eye out in the events section and also visit the Michigan Airsoft Forums where you will find other events throughout the whole state.
