Hate to almost bring this back to life, but A gun that I think is a good sniper rifle would be An AGM m14 (mp008) and with that probably a 6.03dia. 510mm (not for the short socom version). tight bore barrel that you could have someone install. The gun itself is $100 (120 and you get a scope and a bi pod with it), I bought a 6.03/ 510 for 30 bucks, the magazines are inexpensive (get the aeg ones not spring) and for gear, all you need is one with integrated mag pouches and maybe a sidearm holster. I suggested the m-14 because it has a long length, but it is easy to shoot and parts are relatively inexpensive as long as you get the right ones. I have one but i made the mistake of disassembling it, breaking the hop up, a battery terminal and losing a screw :/ but stock it shoots fine, but it has a far spread because it has something like a 6.10 dia barrel. Also, if you're going to buy the tightbore you can send it into evike.com they install parts and such, but be aware, you can only use high grade ammunition with it, something like .20g with tight tolerances because if its too big or deformed it will jam. Another nice thing is that you can use the scope, then switch to iron sights without taking anything off. Hope this helps.

For future reference, crimsonshadow66, it's a sniper RIFLE, not just sniper. Have you thought about buying a much more worthy- AEG?
