Hello, I am planning on buying an airsoft sniper rifle and upgrading alot of the internals. Once I upgrade the internals I have heard that the weapon will be shooting 570-600fps. I am also planning on going to "No Limits Extreme Action Park" this summer. If i do have that type of a gun will i be alloud to play and what would my engagement range be? Thankyou for taking your time to read this. -Matt

I forgot to mention, if this makes a difference. I will be using Madbull .36g bbs so the fps will be much lower than 570-600fps. -Matt

Here are the rules: semiairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=381- 350 fps or 1.20J max: arms length engagement limit 351- 410 fps or 1.69J max: 20 foot engagement limit 411- 550 fps or 3.18J max: 50 foot engagement limit Gun must be bolt action or permanently semi automatic only. The gun may not be capable of being switched to fully automatic by manipulating any external switch or aparatus. Any replica firing above 550 fps is outlawed at all Semia airsoft events. You would know this if you were following SEMIA rules and reading all the stickies like I and the other mods have advised you to do. These rules govern ALL airsoft games in Michigan (at least the one's advertised here and on MIA). If what you are saying is accurate and your gun shoots 570-600 fps with a .20 gram bb then you CAN NOT use it for ANY events even if you use heavier bb's to reduce velocity. The standard way of testing is with .20's and if its over the limits using that then it's over the limits. There is no way around that. This is purely a mater of safety for all those involved. By the way, your profile still says you are female Matt. I would change that unless you like being considered a female (some people are into that sort of stuff).
