Hey Guys,
I am new to SEMIA and was looking for how to post my team. We want to learn how to vs. other teams and join tournaments. Any information about this would be appreciated.

There is no such thing as airsoft "tournaments."
Only planned, organized airsoft games and events. Check out the MiA forums and Events section on this site for upcoming game dates at various owned, insured, and reliable fields throughout michigan.

We play at each others houses. We live in Livingston county. Why do you ask? Where do you play?

I ask for two reasons. 1: Good fields in south eastern Michigan are a bit of a rarity, and if you guys had a legitimate field, it could be nice to get some larger games going there. 2: If you're not playing on a legitimate field, that is, if you're playing somewhere public or somewhere visible from a public area, then I'm going to warn you off. Playing on public land is illegal and can get you shot by the police. Playing on private property that's visible to the public is no, strictly speaking, illegal, but no less dangerous if the police are called. If "each others houses" happen to have large wooded pieces of property attached, then carry on.
If you guys live in the suburbs or something, then you really need to stop playing there and find somewhere else. Remember, all your neighbors see are young men running around with rifles. Anybody who doesn't know what's going on could easily misconstrue what you're doing, and they would be right to call the police. And even if they don't, you always run the risk of a stray bb hitting Mrs. Johnson while she's tending her garden. If that happens, she can have you charged with battery. On top of all of that, in many cities and townships, it's illegal to shoot any projectile weapon, and that includes airsoft guns. So there's still that legal trouble that you can get into, even if you are playing on your own property.
As for where I play, I play at private fields or paintball fields that allow airsoft games.

It's not like what you are saying at all. Where we play is on a 20 acre private woods out in the middle of no where. I don't know if you live in the city, because where we play it is all private land with the closest houses being 300 yards away. All the houses we play at have more than 15 acres of private land so don't get worried. Thank you for the help and hope to see you in the field.
