I understand this barrel bag rule... it might be my fault that the refs finally talked to us about it.
Before the game, in the parking lot, I had the mag in and my M16 slung on my shoulder. I looked at it to check the safety, noticed it was on full-auto, and somehow got my thumb stuck on the trigger.
I fired 15 rounds into the air before I was able to pull my thumb out of the trigger guard.
I really hope they sell barrel bags at the games.

What about sniper rifles? Is it just a matter of making a barrel bag with a realy long teather? I was going to buy some parachute cord fro Harrys when I was buying my lunch for SM5. I will be helping people alter their barrel bags to fit their guns

Like i said, feel free to make your own bags. They just have to pass referee approval. if you make them decently we won't have a problem. if you use a 3 year old crusty sock that you shoot through in 2 rounds, then uh...... you're dumb
this was no person's fault either. George and I hav been talking about it for a bit.

I'm putting a "barrel bag" topic up to go over what works/doesn't work for those of us making our own. Also to try and keep this topic about the rules, not every aspect of a b-bag.

No hot-burn grenades are allowed. If you have cold-start smoke nades, have at it.

You don't have to light it, but it has a strike pad. Like Judge Mills Lane "I'll allow it"

id test it by lighting it, then throwing it right on a pile of dry leaves (in a firepit of course ) and see if it can light the leaves if they light, dont use it

Dutton, the most reasonable place WOULD be Hell Survivors, and they are great reputable company. However I have heard that they don't allow private airsoft games. We appreciate your help Dutton . If anyone wants to get in contact with Hell Survivors or No Limits Park, it'd be appreciated. The only way we will all find more land to play on is by doing this together. HOWEVER this is not the place for it. So any further posts unrelated to Futureball will be deleted.

I talked to Hell Survivors, and they said their insurance doesn't cover airsoft...
