My brother's gun wasn't firing. It is an Mp5 A4 ICS. I checked the fuse and it was blown up. Then I put a new 20 amp in the 20 volt, and that blew. After that I put 20amp 250 volt fuse in it and then it worked for about 75 rounds. Then it totally stopped firing. So I put a new fuse in there and then went to fire it and the battery started on fire. Does anyone know what to do? I need help (spelling).

Fuse voltages shouldnt make too much of a diffrence. A 20 amp 20 volt and 20 amp 250 volt will still blow if more than 20 amps pass through it, regardless of voltage. I would go to an auto parts store and see if they have a glass fuses thare. get some 20 amp and 25 amp fuses.
If the gun has been upgraded, the motor will pull more current to pull back the heavier spring. so if it keeps blowing 20 amp fuses, try a 25 next.
If it still blows after that, try a diffrent motor. Im not saying to buy one, just see if you can use one from a friends gun. Its possible for the motor to have a bad winding or comutator, causing a high current draw, or short. this is somewhat unlikley tho......
And even after the motor, I would then look at the wiring. Its possible for the wires to touch the case somewhere, causing A short. THis could also happen with the motor housing cap in the grip.
ya know what, Im gonna bring home a multimeter from work, and see just how much current my stock TM mp5 pulls, just for refrence.

wiring promblem
There is an interference somehwere in the system with the electrical set up. If you are not familar with aeg internals i suggest you send the gun to a shop.
It sounds like you stripped something. Your gears might have stripped the wire running near them causing that short. My sr-47 acted in the same way and that was the promblem. I don't mean to scare you but, you may need a rewiring job for the wires that are stripped.
That is the worst case scenerio. Sounds mighty familar to when the wires get stripped in the gearbox.

21st Century Airsoft (I know, shut up is in Grand Haven and Kalamazoo, so it would be fast and cheap for shipping. They have a number of options where you can either tell them to fix it with a certain amount of money, or you can have them bill you for the total amount of repairs. Although, no matter how reputable a company, I don't trust them. I have also heard good things about Airsoftextreme in California, but they seem expensive.

Someone seems to have forgotten that city bosses and organized crime went out with prohibition...
While all buisness owners have some weasel in them(after all isn't that what capitalism is all about?), I would trust Bill and 21st for the most part.
