.......If I were mod, I would let this stay open, but instead turn it into a complaint thread..... only those pertaining to the boards and the ways the boards are run would be allow in here. Again if I was mod (heaven forbid >  ) OK, you guys asked for it. Post complaints, concerns, or suggestions about the site here. We can only take care of issues on SEMIA Issues with another members posts should first be resolved with PM's to that member. Issues about an event can ONLY be resolved by the event organizer. Irrelevant posts will be deleted. Please keep profanity to a minimum |

So, please form an orderly line, and take a number so a Mod can assist you in dealing with your complaint;  (Only 1 Complaint at a time before reloads){EL edit- the 'IMG' command has to be in upper case for it to work here Andrew. You have been spending too much time on amp-air  |

Uh I just wondered why the messag-mabob thing on the HOME page still advertises a semia monthly game but it's really old??? didn't everyone stop playing there??? Why doesn't someone update it with Dirty Dozens games they seem to have enough of them?

I'm gonna complain about Andrew's sig being way to fucking big. His current one is 74 Pixels high. SEMiA rules say no more then 80. I think he has changed it since you brought it to his attention. Next time you have a problem like this, please PM the member first. If that doesn't help the issue, then post here. I have a complaint! I know this probably shouldn't go here as it's not a complaint about the site. But it is a complaint. El you have had my g36 drum mag for almost 6 months "fixing" it. I'd really like to hear from you as to whether I am ever going to see it again, or if your just planning on keeping it, with no consent from me. It was mine after all....and I said I'd pay for repairs/shipping. I know your busy and it's hard to find time to ship it. But honestly 6 months? I would have PMed you again but seeing as how my last 4 got no responses I'm hoping the fact that it is on a general board you will be forced to respond. I have no hard feelings I just want it back, or some compensation so I can get a new one.

I'm really not trying to make you look lke a bad guy. I did PM you, and I did note to everyone that I hadn't gotten it back because you were busy. I know I'm not high on your list as a priority, but I feel like even if you are extremely busy there should be a 20 min. span where you can get to a post office in a 6 month time span. Like I said though, I know your having a rough time, and I don't blame you, there are no hard feelings here. I just want my drum mag back is all.

alright, heres a complaint.
why do u advertise, in my oppinion, crappy airsoft sites? i mean i know that michigan isnt very into airsoft and that most kids just want a crappy springer from dunims, but isnt this supposed to be a professional airsoft site? i think that you should have better sites like evike.com or redwolfairsoft.com advertised, but whatever.

If you are going to complain about not advertising for reputable sites, you lose all weight with your argument when you add evike.com to that list.
They were, are, and will always be swindlers that Advertise one item, and sell you another. As well as ignoring E-mails, and complete and blatant disregard for anything that could even remotely be constrewn as Customer Service.

Honorguard FTW! treeunit, if you're talking about the banners at the top of every page, those aren't under our control. Proboards uses google's advertising feature which searches whatever page is open for key words or words that appear numerous times. It then imports a stock ad that is relevant to those words. If you don't like it, there is an option to have a completely ad-free forum. You can pay for it if it bothers you that much. I don't mind it, so I'm not going to front the cash. Look at it this way, a few years ago, proboards used to have pop-ups on every other page you opened. That one banner at the top is none too bad. Now, if you're talking about the links on the left side of the main page, those are for forums and retailers who have specifically asked that we link to them from this site. I've personally met and played with the owners and operators of almost all of those links. You can consider them personal favors, if you like. I don't add more because this site isn't meant to be a portal to good retailers or good research sites. SEMIA is primarily a forum for meeting players in our area so we can get games going. Before SEMIA, nobody knew about everybody else's private games. After SEMIA, we were able to host the larges airsoft event in michigan at the time, with ~140 players. I'd say that this forum is doing it's job and doing it well. If you want to do research and find good retailers, then I suggest you check out Michigan Airsoft. They have a ton of great resources, retailer reviews, and a massive knowledge database. |
