im not talking crap about bma, but i heard from another thread somewhere that they dont do free repairs on the guns that are sold from the store, im not saying anything, just that id like to know, cause if they do the same, then id buy from black mesa. 21st centurys a half hour from my cottage tho, but the lower price leaves more money for upgrades and accesories, so i can have lots of them, like mitch!!

My reliable, stateside store will forever be www.combatdepot.com . The owner sent me a free part when we weren't sure if it was going to work. It did work, and he told me not to pay anyway. He upgraded my gun for me at a fair price and in a very timely fashion. He's always treated me well, so he's always my first stop. He's also been in the airsoft retail game than either Bill at 21st century or Paul at BMA. Francois has been selling airsoft guns for the last five years, and he is a very active participant in the airsoft scene in Ohio. His store is about two or three hours south of the border. For me, that's as close as Grand Haven, and not too far off of lord. Of course, I never go to airsoft stores to buy my stuff, so the only thing that really matters is how long it takes to ship stuff. It's no different from any of the three stores, it'll take two days.

Fuse doesn't go. just the box that holds it, and if the fuse snaps. Well the gun just doesn't work. The Fusebox has nothing to do with the connection from the battery to the motor, its just holds the fuse securely, by removing it you need to wrap everything in electric tape. So the gun really won't melt....

I'm going to second Knief, with a small addition.
Franc over at CombatDepot rocks. He's just an awesome owner. Plus, he's like one of the greatest snipers ever. They always have weird parts, like stuff that you don't find other places, dust covers and stuff like that.
Airsoft Arms also kicks ass. Based in ohio, they have more than one store, and have the biggest assortment of gear that I know of. They carry everything, and if you can't find it online, they will get it. I asked them about STAR MP5 mags, because they weren't listed on the site. In 2(two) days, they were instock on the site.
Plus, Franc and the owner(I believe Darkstar, Locutus might be co though), are good friends, and work closely together to help eachother out. If AA doesn't have something, CombatDepot can send it to them just to be nice.
I think between the two, you would never need another store, for anything.
Jack.

AirsoftArms is Locutus's and Darkstar's beast, but they work closely with Francois since they're all friends. Indeed, gear from AA and guns and parts from CD is the way I'd do it (though I also like lightfighter for gear).
Elphant, I haven't had a fuse in my PDW for two years and so far, it's more than a hunk of plastic.

Elphant, I haven't had a fuse in my PDW for two years and so far, it's more than a hunk of plastic. The only reason I speak so strongly about keeing the fuse, is because I had an incodent with A R/C car. The wiring just before the batt connector (or in the connector) had a short. There was enough current in that 1700mAh 7.2V battery to cause a fire. Yes the insulation actually caught fire. After that I put automotive ATC (blade) type fuses in the battery itself. If we look back to the "gun blowed up" thread , we see that it is possible for a fuse to blow as time and wear take its toll on a gun. Im sure weve all seen how light the wire tends to be inside the mechbox. If condidions are right, and you dont have a fuse, A fire could start inside your gun. Im A certified auto mechanic, and speciaize in driveabity, computer, and electrical problems. there are more and more fuses in cars now than 7 or 10 years ago, with good reason. I have seen wire harnesses BURN, and its a rather scary sight
