Something cool i've been working on for the past 3 days now. This was created fully in a vector based program. - enjoy

relevent to what?... airsoft? Or do you mean the vector part? Well vector because it was created from scratch. Line by line. No photo's were used to in the creation of this image.

I meant to airsoft. It's nice looking work, and no doubt pretty tricky. But, this is an airsoft forum, after all.

Well, if we had a couple of thompsons with drum mags we could go a little gangster with it ;D I guess we would also need a couple of violin cases.

it would be cool if you could make us up a tank or something

that would be challenging.
Didn't think about that one.
However, its quite hard to find a 300+ dpi reference photo of a tank.
I usually shoot my own photos for reference when doing my own illustrations and it would be quite hard to find a tank around Savannah - hmm.....
My origional plan was actually a gun for this assignment but, felt i had to go and challenge myself.
Yeah its not airsoft related but, in the description of this page it "says": talk about anything here. So i figured what the hell.

Fixed that little oversight ;D
You're telling me that a decked out M4 with say, a vertical foregrip, red dot, flashlight, redimag and sling wouldn't challenge you? Can you do it up, then? I suggest a blue hue over a yellow one.

knief-lol
The resoning behind the color lays in color and design thoery.
The general public will relate more to a car then a gun. Furthermore, concpetualy guns are seen with very little color or non at all. There for, i felt the best way to emphasize the project specifications would be to use imagry associated with color. Since, i was required to use four colors.
Lastly.... cars are difficult to take on. Its something you need to have knowledge of the process to appreciate like anything.
Pardon me if i posted in the wrong.
I just like to make my more successfull graphics available to the general public for inspiration, refenence and educational purposes.
This has not been posted for praise or reconition.
Make it out as you wish. ;D
I'm just happy it ended more sucessfully then my previous high school attempts!,lol.
I just posted in hopes of perhaps helping a future designer or someone with the same task to take on. Thats all. No harm done either way. I my self find it quite successfull and felt like making it available to others.

Can I ask what you're studying to be? I personally am hoping to take CAD's classes this summer(academics fill up my classes during the year) so I can pursue a possible Architecture major in college. Nice work, but I've got a challenge. M4 RAS CQB, PEQ2 on the top rail, SureFire M3 Illuminator with foregrip on the bottom rail, flip up front site, AimPoint Comp ML2 on Cantilever mount, cut rear site, 3pt. sling, readymag system, MagPul, and a either a CRANE or MOD stock. Here's your four colours(Yeah, cool spelling):
-Red Barrel Plug, -White Laser Engraved Trademarks. -A camo job on the whole gun, including browns, greens, and black, and a drab silver stock tube.
I know you won't do it, I just felt like listing some of my dream M4, except the M3, I'd do that differently.
Anyway, hope you get an A.
d0t. Jack.

illustration major graphic design minor
I have some knowledge of CAD from high school drafting vocational courses. The skills help me out when doing my illustrations/work in illustrator.
Architecture huh?
I'm damn good at perspective but, those floor plans suck (from drafting in high school).
Any how good luck with that. CAD isn't all that hard to learn. Then again i say that about every program i have mass knowledge of. Its like MAYA..... people make way to big of a fuse over it.
Don't get me wrong the programs are hard but, if you have the basic knowledge of design that is more then half the battle.
