Maye we should buy the lot of them just for anyone who wishes to play but doesnt have one. Or if someone needs a radio the can buy one for the price we paid (probably would be under ten a radio in the end). I would throw down some money on it, if someone wants to bid on them.

I say we take the cost of these out of the first round of SEMIA dues. If the four of us toss in enough money to buy them we can be reimbursed whatever amount we pay over the $5 for the dues after we collect. (I'm also saying that I'll chip in to get these).

Sounds like a plan to me, but don't bid until the last minute. You don't want to hike the price up. If you're good, you can snag them within the last few seconds. Just keep one window open to bid on it and another open that you can refresh and make sure you're bidding at the latest time.

Yeah I do that all the time, I think I got one with 13 seconds left. It's not hard to do. I believe eBayers call it "sniping".
heehee.

I know that auction is probably long gone. However, that thing you guys called "sniping", there are programs for download. I'm not sure where, but you can probably hunt them down on a good google search. They were on the news earlier. They're automatic, so they bid in at the very last second. May prove to be useful for you ebayers.
