Bullshit, you never made it to 7th grade. Anybody leaving elementary school knows the difference between "there" and "their." LOL! Now that was funny shit!

Are you just posting to post, dude? Let's try to keep some actual content in our posts here, ok?

Ummm...No, I am not just posting just to post. I just thought your comment was funny (condescending, but funny). And based on the comment aforementioned, I think I could ask you the same thing, hmmmm? Does EVERYONE on here have something to say about EVERY little thing on here? I am not trying to be facisous, but it seems like there are off-handed comments thrown out to a lot people for simple grammar, spelling, or other syntax errors. I find them to be aggravating and tedious as well, but I am not going to comment on their lack of intelligence (especially if they aren't doing it on purpose. i.e.: maybe they are not intellectually up-to-par as some people.) Because it is in essence, rude, hurtful, and degrading. Poking fun is fine, but I have seen some posts that were, to put it in laymen terms, pretty f&%*#$ up.

Those aren't off-handed comments, those are points where the rules are being enforced. You see, it's a rule here that members at least attempt to use proper grammar. Nobody is going to get bent out of shape over an obvious type or a dangling modifier, shit happens. Like, I'm not going to gipe over your ambiguous use of "their" toward the middle of your post. But, mixing up "their" and "there," on the other hand, is pretty inexcusable because, as I noted, you learn that rule in elementary school. So when members make mistakes like that, they break a rule. As an administrator, it's my job to correct them, which I do. But typing up the same "Please use proper grammar" post every time really gets tedious, so I switch it up and amuse myself and hopefully some other members with some tame jabs on the obvious stuff.
What I can't understand is how any of this is related to me asking you to have some content in your posts that's more substantial than "That's funny." It's not a big request. If you want to ask about the grammar rules, ask away. If you've got anything at all to add to a topic, by all means post it up. But those posts like, "I agree with that guy," and "Yeah, that's funny" are completely unnecessary, a trait which is only enhanced when those posts are made in older threads like this one.

As an "administrator" of a forum you are assuming a leadership role, right? I think you should LEAD by EXAMPLE and not sweat the proverbial "small-stuff"-My opinion, nothing meant by it. (I guess what I am trying to get across is, why give yourself a headache over someone elses misuse of grammar, and god awful run-on sentences?). Another point being is why not P.M. that particular "violator of the vernacular" instead of publicly "flogging" the person on the board? Wouldn't that be a more democratic way in correcting the inept? I mean I am not a bleeding heart or some pussy tree-hugger, but how would you feel if you were gramaticly challenged (lol) and someone kept harping on you about your spelling and punctuation....When all you wanted was to know what piston assembly would be best for whatever particular weapon. I am not trying to overstep any boundaries or piss anyone off, I just thought that your response to that particular statement was funny. Thats all . But I do get your point in having "substance" in my posts-and I will be more mindful of that in the future. And I guess to answer the second part of your statement, it's the way you told me-plain and simple. But as I stated, I WILL be more mindful as to how and what I post. Thanks for the heads-up. And just to let you know, there is no word "gipe". No definitions found for "gipe".

Definetly count my team in! Close within 30 minutes away from are house and a field with minimal brush sounds pretty fun. Snipers beware ;D
