I'm having some trouble with my gun feeding, and since I'm a noob to airsoft I'm not exactly sure what to do, I thought mabe if I sprayed the hop up again with some silicone spray that would help, but it didnt do a whole lot, basicly the gun fires 3 out of 4 shots on full auto, and 1 out of 4 on semi auto, it could possibly be the mag, but I dont see any thing visibly wrong with it. Any ideas? Thanks for the help

What variant (Mp5, M16, AK, ect) is giving you this problem, also what brand (TM, CA, ICS). Are we even talking about an AEG?

What brand mag are you using? ICS/AE mags are known for feeding terribly into any kind of gun. If you can get your hands on some TM mags, give them a shot and see if they work.

All right I'll give that a try, I was using my friend's TM mag and still having some trouble, but its been pretty heavily used, and since it was for his little brother's gun, not too well taken care of. Thanks

When you shoot it, do you occassionally get a mass of BBs that don't come out, and then like 6 shots later, they call come out in a clump?

Try shooting it with the hopup all the way up, and all the way down, then in the middle. Try a mag full on each setting. See if your results differ, also it could be bad BBs (like crappy K-Mart brand .20s, or even the BBs could be dirty), so see if your using good quality BBs.

Currently I'm using ICS brand bbs (are those bad?). And no I havent been getting clumps of bbs coming out, it just dry fires for maybe 6-10 shots before it starts feeding, and then every once in awile it misses a shot here and there. On semi auto though it generaly dryfires now 75% of the time.
Thanks for the help guys

spray some silicon in your mag. it sounds like your BB's are stickin in tube that holds all the BB's in the mag.

Any silicone based lube from an ACE Hardware(or any hardware store) should work too. I know ACE sells a spray can that's name is just "Silicone Lubricant".
I use it for my GBB.
Jack.
