Fox is simply stating a dislike of the rules because his gun is at more of a disadvantage than he's used to, whereas what you're talking about is downright unsafe for anyone. 400 FPS from a few feet away like Fox said, nobody complains- but you're talking about almost twice that, an extra 300FPS. Shattering goggles with a 700FPS gas rifle isnt something to be proud of, it's just being a downright dick.

I personally don't know Fox, and I can only read what is there in writing. So when I read the following:

that comes off to me as arrogant, and that there is not means for safety. Yes I understand the surrender and all that, but that doesn't make anything different... the gun is still hot.

If Fox means differently from is post, than he should post what he means. Not 'the sky is the limit' on your gun.

And yes, I know 700 or 800 fps is dangerous, I was using this as an example and not to be a 'dick', because someday some kid will see that post and will show up with a 700fps gun. And when people complain, he'll say "I think it was allowed."

When it comes to saftey, I don't hold anything back. To hear someone shooting extermely hot, scares the piss out of me. Because it only takes one accident for the media to get wind of the 'dangers of airsoft, and how it could kill your child.' and next the local juristrictions shut down airsoft.

And prehaps being a pilot I recogonize a possible dangers, I will point it out before someone seriously gets hurt.

Btw, my gun doesn't shoot that hot. Could it? Prehaps if i decided to crank it, but i'm not like that. Again I was using this as an example.

What I meant was that OUR team only trains that way and we all have government issue ballistic goggles(which can with stand 12 guage buckshot) because we play that way, we also wear body armor with plates and gear over that and Kevlar helmets it still hurts like hell in the limbs but we don't cry about it... well sometimes I'll sneak a tear or two when my guys arn't looking, but don't tell em. eh?


No seriously our team hosted OP: Mega-Pixel and we were strict on rules too but not like this! I wasn't sugesting I want Flash Fire to have no rules I just don't see the point in having CQB rules for an out door event is all and I really wish they could understand that and acomadate some of the more serious players because it sounds like a noob wrote the rules,
now what I'm asking seems fair doesn't it???

Uh I just map quested this place and the directions are different it tells me to go to 8126 W. Main ST instead of 24262 66th ST like the directions posted on this thread, So does anyone know the correct one???

We would like to personally thank everyone who attended our event and helped make it a resounding success.

Being our first event, we were really worried about it not meeting people's expectations and people leaving unhappy. Plus the complete and utter disorganization that was this thread... Thankfully it did not translate out onto the field.

Basically everyone that I talked to seemed to be enjoying themselves and having a good time. With the exception of somewhat minor issues that occur at almost every event.

Again, I would like to personally thank everybody, on behalf of Armory Airsoft and Team A.M.A.S. who attended Operation: Flash Fire.

Great game it was a hell of alot of fun. My brother and I held the U.S. out of the village for 3 hours by sniping from the east side of the village. It was a sweet set up. Thanks for the great game.
