So are we gonna hold the SEMIA monthly games there? Or did I just miss out on airsoft for the month?

Holy shit.. let me be the first to say, that is one of the best airsoft games I have ever been to. The field, being 3 acres, is not HUGE but it doesn't matter, it doesn't have to be. The housethey made does a good job confusing you until you've been through it a couple of times.
There were well-set up pallets all around the field. One of the bunkers was an entrenched area that was dug in deep with sandbags and a small wood roof wall and assembly. There is a tent area with about four small one-man tents and next to that is a two section prison with opening door/gates.
As for the events today: We started out as assaulting up the three major alley ways and the main objective was to infiltrate the house and clear it. Then we switched it up a little, tried new teams and such. Later on we did room clearing with just the house. It was basically a 7 man team infiltrating. There are three entry points to the house. After that came my FAVORITE arisoft event... ever. We did speed/stress shooting competitions. These cosnisted of three man teams of a pistol man, a rifleman and a shotgunner. The pistolman would go into the house, shoot 4 targets in one room, one in another room, and then two more on the way out (hallway). He then would grab the 65lb dummy outside the door and run him as fast as he could about 50ft down the field to the rifleman. The rifleman would take out two targets at the station he started at, then grab the dummy and move up about 10-12ft. He then would take out three targets. (by the way these are metal standup targets a little wider than a soda can.) The rifleman then grabs the dummy again and goes to a station to the left, he shoots another 4 targets and then drags the dummy to the shotgunner who is nearby. The shotgunner takes the dummy about 20ft to the tent area and shoots 4 large beeping targets. He leaves the dummy there and proceeds to the prison where he opens two latched doors and takes out a final beeping target. These targets were a little larger than an 8x11 piece of paper. They are sensistive to contact and beep/light up when hit. I beleive i heard this system cost about $1500. All of this is done while being screamed at by LittleBear. The SWAT instructor.
I recommend the Dirty Dozen's CQB facility in Wixom to ANY and EVERYbody. They supplied us with dinner (hot dogs, cheeseburgers, soda, chips), SWAT tactics and techings that I can ACTUALLY apply to playing from now on. The $20 entrance fee is MORE than worth it. I give these guys an A++++++++ It is truely amazing what they've done, how well organized they are, and how much fun and interest they bring to the sport.. a job very well done.
I will be posting videos and pictures in less than a half hour, stay tuned.

I don't believe that guy actually threw his glock at the target...and hit it. I didn't know that had happened.
I'll give the field a full review tomorrow.
