you can use your rifle for the skills competition, but not for a firefight in the shoothouse. there's always your pistol  PM S-System, he may have a spring he can sell ya cheap |

I talked to s system and he said it would be fine if my gun was shooting 380-400 as long as I stick to the 20ft limit. I'll always have my pistol on me though, and I won't even bring my rifle for any games taking place only in the house.
