That sounds good to me, although I question the ammount of time the sticks will last. about 12 hours or longer.we could just use reflective tape.

Lighting on the body totally defeats the purpose of a night game. It's all based on sound, and slow movement, and VERY good team naving. If you have lights, it totally takes away the purpose of those 3 main parts.

If you don't use any sort of light, first off, that is a major safety risk, unless you limit FPS, like I said in an earlier post. Second, it is far more difficult to identify which team is which, making the team kill rate go up. Then you have the problem with obstructions on the field, holes, branches, ect.
Granted it may not be quite as interesting using lights, I'd say safety over rides fun on this one.

looks pretty sweet I think NV for everyone would be a problem not everyone has it and if we are using flashlights then that may cause the NV on other people to flair. Owell ill be using a Flashlight

Well, then limit it to 350, or semi auto only. The whole about team killing... have good comunication, and good formations, and your not going to be shooting your own team. You think in real life people walk around with glow sticks on?

No, in real life they have NVG...unfortunatly not everyone can afford them, so you must improvise. It's not the point about team killing I'm stressing, it's safety. Safety should be your first and foremost concern over "what's more fun."
The glow sticks is just an alternate solution to using flashlights, and would allow for easier judgement of engagements. And even if everyone had NVGs to use, it'd still be wise to limit FPS so there can be no engagement distances. I know my brother (who is a crew chief on a CH53 Delta) hates NVGs because there is no depth perception with them.
When one of your teammates gets two teeth completely shattered and 12 BBs stuck in his arm, while blood is dripping down his arm, covering his sleeve, and still has blood stains on his gun (from about 1 year ago) from a hot gun that engagement distances weren't being followed, safety issues become way more evident to you.
I for one, am more than willing to wear two glowsticks, even if makes things less realistic/fun to prevent myself from being hurt.

Yeah, back when I played with DK (my old team) We made in mandatory with night games that every person had a flashlight on their gun ON at all times, unless you had a springer.

So what's the point of playing at night if we are going to more visible than in day. I mean, in day, you have camo, you can blend in, and not be seen, but at night, with a bright light shining out into the dark, you are going to be seen almost instantly. All the safety precautions for a night game kind of cancel out the fun of a night game.

That's why when my team and I were discussing this last fall, we decided we would use glow sticks. Glow sticks are generally not nearly as bright as a flashlight. Also, you wouldn't have to have glow sticks on the front and back of you, which would make it a little more difficult still.
What's more important to you having safe fun, or just having fun? There's a big difference in how the two are carried out.
