If you can get a hold of a few spot lights or flood lights, shine em into the forest. It's fun with all the shadows. That sounds really cool. I can remember some night games where I totally thought there was someone in the woods near me, but turns out they were in an open field another 500yds away. hehe. The shadows can really mess with your head.

I think that a night game with flood lights or something would be cool.

Thread is over 2 weeks old, but I still think it's pretty important considering it hasn't been mentioned. It may also be wise to make sure all players have whistles on them during the night games, along with some sort of way to fence the playing area in, whether it be caution tape or something else. Last thing anyone needs in a night game is to find out someone walked off in a direction and didn't know their way back. Whistles are usually very cheap, you can usually pick up a set of a few at the dollar store for, obviously a dollar. Just a suggestion though.

We use whistles too, Valkyrie. Whistles are just smart, since not everybody has a radio or the message might not get broadcast over a certain channel. Plus, if somebody wandered off in the night, it's not like you could just radio "go to your left" because nobody knows where he is. On the other hand, a whistle carries for a long way, and a lost person could just wander towards the sound.

I agree with whistles for lost or if someone gets hurt and no one around they can locate them faster

That would limit the ammount of people down way too much. Not much people are going to shell out 300+ on an okay NV system. For now I like the glowsticks idea. The spotlights could be an alternitve though.

Well I guess since no fields have been mentioned as acceptable play, this is going to take longer the hoped. My personal field(backyard). Is about 3 acres(really only good for personal use). But the option of playing there is always open, we still could have about 10-15 people playing comfortably, but it will still be a little cramped.

El, have you every spoken with Futureball about having a night game there?
I wouldn't be surprised if they said no due to insurance but it might be worth asking.

Now that this thread is alive again El, have you every spoken with Futureball about having a night game there? I wouldn't be surprised if they said no due to insurance but it might be worth asking. TB that more than likely wont happen. the way FB's insurance works is that they cant cover games after the sun sets.
