It could still be fun to play at night thats why I for one still think it would be fun.. Here is my idea. I know they sell differnt color Glow sticks Red Green Blue ect Each team gets a color Then if the glow sticks turn out to be too bright then be cover them with some sort of cloth to make them less ivsible while allowing ourselves to be seen. You should have some sort of an idea where your team is anyway Thoughts comments?

I would love to try a night game but I dont want to get stepped on if Im behind cover and aiming
I think we should use glowsticks because its safer than no light and more fun than flashlights
just thougts on the situatiom

I have no problem with glowsticks, I was looking into getting some NVG, but so far haven't found the proper helmet for as cheap as I want, that can mount it. I think the ideal field for this is the Romulus field, though, El says it's a bit hazy now. With the clear cut part that DE did, it would eliminate some of the night issues, like tripping over branches. And we could use the surrounding area, like we did when it was Gimpy, Stryker, and me (Snipers) vs. everyone else. Oh boy was that fun.... (We got slaughtered)

Using glow sticks will make it way too easy to spot people. I don't see the point of playing a night game if you ruin it with glowsticks. I say limit fps to 350 and require people to carry a light (not required to be on). If you really think about it, it would be easier to spot a guy with a glowstick than spotting a guy in camo in the day.

your probaly right but agian its a saftey isssue i thinkit would be alright if it was a night game with 10 or 15 ppl but this will be many more. I dont think that it will be possible to have a safe game when you cant see anyone. If you have a better idea lets hear it Not having light on at all could be a problem.

this is all an experiment with the glow sticks. Like when we tried the 1 re-spawn at the first SEMIA/FB monthly. Some people had to wait 90 min for the next game to start. We wont be doing that again

Gestapo is right here, it also depends on the time we play, and if it's clear out or not.

If you can get a hold of a few spot lights or flood lights, shine em into the forest. It's fun with all the shadows.

I think i will just stick to playing night games with my friends. We don't use glowsticks we do carry flash lights. But almost never use them we do use lazer sights (which gives u away). But other then that we just rely on your sences. We have been playing that way for 2 summers now and no one ever gets hurt. For shooting a team member we just take it as dead by friendly fire. like real life accidents happen. We do have an FPS limit of 350 and no shooting anyone within 20 feet if u are that close and no one see's u u just have to say your dead and they are out. Use lights takes all the fun out of it and the general idea of war games. (which are ment to be as real as possible ) This is just my opion. U guys can play how ever u want.

i have a 10 acre back yard and usually am free on Sundays. there is also a paintball course on the adjacent property so they can be used simultaneously which i have done more than once. the speedball course is good for night games, we normally use TM tracer units, Gladius or surefire flashlights and or NVG's or NV monocular with pistol. good for about 20 to 40 people. if anyone wants to play its normally five bucks a head and can play all day and night. if and team moderators or captain's want to come check out the field pm me so we can set up a date, i live in holland ohio so its a little bit of a drive btu its worth it. no pics are currently available, i don't have a digital camera.
