But yeah, the only way this will be realistic is if its like a few Special Forces and some guerillas against a large Socialist force of Bad guys in a third world country.

I was just thinking,I we used columbia as our country we wouldnt really need uniform requirements.Simply because The FARC wear us style woodland camo but they have their arm bands.We couls have columian army vs. FARC and then have a team of seal cought in the middle(kind of like that last mission in the movie navy seals with charlie sheen)

But I also like this.

The Chinese Government Hires TRIO, an Asian based crime syndicate employing Japanese, Mongolian, and Chinese terrorist/gangsters, to raid a Russian Chem warfare base, in the Gobi desert, Mongolia.
2 days later, the Russian ambassador to China's convoy gets attacked, and he, his wife, and 2 body guards are captured by trio
The Russians have no clue who did it, but there not blaming the US, or any western society.
Quite the contrary, they've asked for assistance from a US Special forces group, to hook up with a group of Spetsnaz operators to try and find who did it.
Just a few days of searching and they found out that the Chinese and Mongolian Govn't are responsible. China says that if they don't give up half of Russia to China, they will use these WMDs to destroy US and Russian bases in Europe, the pacific, and the middle east.
Why China is doing this:
The claim they will use this newly acquired land to set up a new nation with all east Asian, and south east Asian nations, to better organize that side of the world, and to set up a mass weapons research program
Russia, NATO, and the US are outraged, and declare war on The newly formed alliance, because they feel this was a hostile act against them

If the Allied forces cannot re-gain the ambassador, and WMDs by the end of playing time, the WMDs are launched, and the Allied forces loose
