lol at Brickman. Brickman, I love your enthusiasm, maintain that and watch your spelling and I can't think of anything else to worry about, except zombie-pirates. El, I have a couple of sets of 500 watt flood lights, on tripods, and 4 or more generators to use. I am also going to purchase a chronograph myself for my team to use in the future. Can you suggest a good brand? I concur with you about high power rifles being a bit low on utility. I suppose though that for engaging the other team, such a gun would be appropriate, but I will probably require the user to use a pistol against zombies since they will be close any way, and I don't want to have anyone with a BB lodged in their skin. Everyone will chrono with .2s loaded by the refs. No one, not even me, will load their own gun when its time to chrono. I don't want any injuries, the Zombies are slow coming as it is and we don't want to piss off or hurt any of our volunteers. On a personal note, El, if you catch someone with a hot gun, please rip their arms off and eat their liver for me. I am still pissed at the crotch-goblins that brought hot guns to Farmington the other day. They pulled them out in the dark and went full-auto. I got shot in the nuts, three times. My bag was bleeding! I will now become a chrono-nazi for a while until I forget the pain and suffering we endured. They also shot Hunter and someone else all of us were bleeding from it. Having learned a valuable lesson, I will be bringing colored zip-ties for marking guns. They will be specially serialized ties so no one can cut and swap them. I will offer players what ever weight of BB they desire, they can have .12s if they really want them, I don't care, I will have .12, .2, .25, .28 and a few .4s, but I am not certain if I want to see someone shot with a .4. I will defer to your judgment on that one. Talk to you later guys! ~R K P.s. sorry to hear of your loss El. .4s Are a bad idea. If someone comes in with a high powered rifle and catches someone in the goggles or something they could easily break. (I spell checked)

(I spell checked) This is wrong, and whoever told you that is more full of shit than my septic tank. If you have a rifle shooting 550 FPS with a .20g, it will only shoot 389 FPS with a .40. Energy remains constant. .20 @ 550 FPS = 2.8j energy .40 @ 389 FPS = 2.8j energy You can verify this yourself hereI have also seen a gas sniper rifle shooting WAY too hot (over 670 FPS if my memory is correct), and we shot some goggles with it point blank for Shits and Grins. The goggles did not fail, the BB DID leave quite a dent in the lens.

I agree. Math works. If you have proper goggles, no BB will ever break them. (Thousands of high powered shots in the same area, that's a different story. Everything has its breaking point) Heck, one of mine, I think, is even rated to stop a .227 round at a distance!

El, what brand of chronograph would you recommend? Oh sorry, I forgot to get back to you on that.... Both Kneif and myself use A Shooting Chrony Beta model. The "Beta Chrony" has more features than you really need, but if you can afford it, they're nice to have. For any low light or indoor uses, I recommend a light fixture as well. Shooting Chrony makes them, but I made my own for half the price. I needed this because my basement is lit by florescent lights, and shooting chronies get confused by them. Any shooting chrony product will do just fine. I bought mine off eBay.

I think near the Hanger under the floodlights would be a good idea.

yes, I agree, we can have your maid or butler hold the chronograph A tripod used for cameras works very well. There is a threaded hole in the bottom of the Chrony for exactly that. This is how mine is set up in the basement....

This game is to be held at shadows field in riley correct? The same field as the FREE night game on the 11th of april? Just want to make sure so I know how much attention I should pay to the lay of the land at the FREE game. Shadow hopefully I can take a minute to sit down and discuss this zombie game with you at the FREE game on APRIL 11th. I have plenty of ideas and was also hoping I could get a few horde shots for a movie I am hoping to put together this summer. Will red knight be at the FREE game as well? I would really like to meet him.
FREE GAME IN RILEY ON THE 11th OF APRIL.

Yes, so far it's planned on being at my place, unless Rob can find someplace better. If you'd like to take some time and talk about it there, I'd be happy to do so with you. I'm not sure if Rednight will be attending since he has other things to take care of first.

With regrets I will not be attending the game scheduled for April 11th I did not get the time off and I am on special leave right now to take care of matters with my family, I hope the game goes well for you guys, please let me know how it works out.
As for the Zombie Game we are still on schedule and planning a game in mid to late June.
With regard to the movie, I am working on shooting a promo video for the event featuring what else? Zombies! I need a few volunteers and some help with props still so anyone interested and available for this project would be both welcome and appreciated.
~Rob
