We may have to plat the game with Gas non-blow backs, they seem to work good in the cold unlike blow back pistols or a strick real cap mag rule for scarce AEG use.

Another option for GBB's would be to reduce the number of BB's loaded into the mag.
Ill buy more propane and stick my 93R magazines in the fridge and see how many shots I can get before I "Gas Out"

Hey does anyone have any black sheet plastic they want to get rid of? I need it for making a 3 FT tall wall all around the city to hold in the fog from the foggers. That way zombies will have a kick-ass edge in the game, by simply laying down you can 100% dissapear or move around with maximum cover at all times and it would flat out make the game terrifying.

No to be rude, but is there any update on the time frame? Haven't had any training or call in about a month, and the Bunker gear is getting dusty...

Well I'm taking Els' advice, at this point to give us time to finish construction and for a better turnout as well as weather and weapons performance I'm gonna say sometime in the spring...We have the goahead to do this but if we do it right away it won't have the full impact we promise to deliver!

well first off you need to have more ppl then we had, i think we had three zombies and three humans and one camara man. one big problem is that we kept shooting the sombies in the area you should never get shot, and that when you get shot you want to shoot back, we let the zombies use guns. mainly GBB, but it was just lke a regular game but we got some nice footage, i will see what i can to to post it online. but as the ideia, i think it would work better with GBB and shotguns, it would make it more interesting and harder. when the video gets back from the ppl who are editing it i will see what i can do to get some of it online

Yeah we plan to limit the weapons use to shottys and gas pistols and maybe gas SMGs we're still not sure of the SMGs they could be overkill. Also humans will be sent through the city in 5 man teams, weapons will be scattered throughout the entire city, only 2 people in the 5 man team will be armed at the start, the rest must have melee weapons until they locate firearms. zombies will outnumber humand 5 to 1 and will have the ability to change humans into zombies as well as the advantage of extreme close quarters and darkness. There will also be different classes of zombies such will be identified with markings, certain zombies will be able to run some will be able to use melee weapons and some will even have the ability to take multiple hits before being "what ever it is that zombies do when they strongly dissagree with bullets" The game will be played Late day till well into nightfall the city has lights but they make the place look like a level from splinter cell....way too many shadows. The entire area will be blocked off from place to place giving it a "maze" effect and thus eliminating confusion on where to go...just follow the winding path, we're trying to combine different elements to give it the Silent Hill / Doom / Resident Evil / Dawn of the Dead type of expirience where everyone knows what to do and whats going on they just don't want to do it or accept it. The game has been confirmed for anytime in the Spring or Summer or even Fall for all the holloween junkies, and if it works we'll probly keep having them once every so often. I need some feedback as to which month or weekend this event would work best for a majority of people( Spring through Fall) As soon as that happens we can go for an exact date. Oh, not to break topic or anything but for bad ass OP/Event footage, if any one is interested in helmet cams or gun cams check out the malls I was just at a KB-Toys in great lakes crossing and I bought one of those Tony Hawks helmet cams (like OP-DOC's) for only $49.99 they're pretty cool you can hook em' to you're gun or helmet and get the type of footage a camera man never could.

wow i posted a reply and i guess it dident go through
you need lots of ppl we only had six, if you have them use shotguns and gbb it will make it look better and more realistic
one big problem is that the zombies after being shot want to shoot back. DONT GIVE THEM AEG'S they wont stop shooting,
and to tell you the truth one zombie actualy keept getting shot in the place where you are not supost to be shot, a couple of times due to spraying.
over all you need to have lots of ppl and make shure that ppl know how to play, airsoftiowa.com is where i found the ideia and it worked well for them but they had great rules and a big turn out.

My best estimate for the best time of the year for this game would be late June. All of the college kids will be out by the first week of May, but high schoolers tend to go until the middle of June. If you want these kids to have the best chance of attending (and why wouldn't you?), then you should wait until they're out of school and have the free time.
If this goes well, then wait for October to have the follow up and call it a Halloween game. But I think that it would be a poor decision to put this one off for that long.

I am of the personal opinion that this Op should happen sooner rather than later, but I understand the limitations of both the weather and peoples lives (time/resources required to put on an Op, especially one and unique as this). While I would like to see it happen before next summer, if it must, I would like to request it not be postponed beyond June as that will leave any new academy people out
