If The pie tins don't work you could always use double sided tape warped around the zombies. This should be relatively inexpensive and would cover the back of them as well.
Well ghast I was under the assumption that only the zombies would be using the pie tins. Most of the zombies won't have on camo and if you read the thread neither will anyone else except the hosting team.
I did not think of the reflections though that was a good idea.

The point is that...lets just say its going to be difficult for the zombies to hide wearing them.

LT. Hubbard and I had a long discussion about this today, we're not too sure about the pie tins. I don't know how extreme or brutal most people fight out in the field but I personally put my name to the test every time I step on the field, and as dedicated and passionate as I am towards the kill, I really don't see one of these pie tins surviving a single game strapped on MY chest, I think we may need something more durable or rugged, Hubbard fully agrees that they may become problematic in the city's increasingly tight quarters, not to mention the need of integrity in order to survive a players speed, agility and brutality in such a scenario.
What about a type of thin layered hard plastic vest, hard plastic makes a distinct sound when hit and may prove to be more combat worthy, In this scenario, you'll need something that allows you to move quickly, and qietly in order to stay alive and complete objectives....will test.

I agree that the plastic would be a better idea. I may also be able to get large sheets of it from work. I will have to find out more like how long it will take to come in cost (maybe free) and if it is possible. If you already have some plastic let me know if not can you let me know how much you think you may need. I can also cut it to size and all that good stuff. Oh yeah it is also black so it will not give away anyones location.

so any clue on when the op. is? As soon as Grey Fox gives me or Kneif a date and time, we will start a new thread in "Scheduled Games". Untill then, lets keep talking about the cenario or potential gameplay issues like we have been

It's been awhile but with seeing 28 weeks later trailer, and just watching Hot Fuzz, I'd still like to be a cop. This has so much potential. I'll be waiting.

OFFICIAL GAME STATUS UPDATE:
Gray Fox and I have tentatively set the date for October 20th, as it would be in the halloween season (somehow fitting for a zombie related scenario- which we will be doing everything we can to make this as frightening as the movies and games we've all played).
We're looking at approximately a 100 person game, and the mechanics and kinks are being worked out right now.
To answer everyone's questions, we ARE looking at having this as an overnight op. Fox and I are working meticulously to make this as safe as possible and at the same time have it run very fluidly and be as much fun as possible (but rest assured, mods- Safety is our number one priority right now).
I'll soon be posting the requirements for cops, firefighters, and various other professions, and once I've got those put up, I will be taking applications for those positions (which will have different weapon alotments).
If you have suggestions for Fox and I, please feel free to post them- keep the creative juices flowing. If we like the ideas, Fox and I will MOST DEFINITELY include them in the scneario, but we make no promises (because as we said, Safety is our #1 priority).
We thank you for your patience in us getting our shit together and an extra special thanks goes out to Phantasmo for holding down the fort for us while we get our shit together on this one.
We at SFOD promise you this will be quite a game, as I personally have been devoting the last 3 YEARS to putting together a game like this.

Looks like I will miss this one due to the government... but life goes on.
I hope it goes well and everyone has a safe and fun time.

Is the earlier discussed shotgun still going to be used at this game?

Is the earlier discussed shotgun still going to be used at this game? No it has been retired from all open airsoft games, if not premanantly retired
