I watched a show on the FFL, those guys are fucking nuts. If you think you have the balls to do it, why not? It would be a life changing experience for sure.

Wouldn't be my first choice (their french), but if you want to do it go for it.

It would seem more logical to discuss this with you family/real world friends though.

Do some research please, the Legion is not French Special Forces. They are a formidable fighting force for sure, but there are a ton of misfits from every Army in the world in there. There is an equal amount of criminals and good guys alike. Not to mention the french military hates them.

Why would you not join the US military? That's like having the choice between Giselle Bundchen or Rosie O'Donnell. Not to mention the retarted hats.

WRONG..they do not take anybody. first off, they onyl accept non-french citizens. they take anyone but the french. hence the name "French Foreign Legion"

Why would you not join the American military first?

Pros

- Better pay
- No language barrier
- Fewer shady characters
- Serving your own country, not foreign causes

Cons

- Maybe it doesn't sound as cool?
- You could see this as either one: You become a french citizen.

Join the US Military first, if you want more, see the Legion after you're out.
