, yup I guess so gimpy. But I meant performance wise, meaning it shoots the same (fps), like all other TM AEGs. I had no clue about the technicalities about it though, how it does the opposite (backwards) of a normal AEG. Thanks for that info Knief!

Thanks guys, I had no idea I would get so much of a response so fast. Anyways I'll proly go with an G3 A3 or a G3 SG-1, for the upgrades, what would you suggest(like parts wise, do I need new gears, tappet plate, what do you think?), I'm no expert at this.
Thanks

Thanks I'll calculate it all. prices from U.S. retailer Airsoftextreme.com (im so lazy) DREAM HIGH GRADE SET-UP! G3 Systema BS barrel - $55 Systema helical gear set ultra torque up (comes with piston) - $115 Systema m120- $16 Systema aluminum piston head w/bearing- $20 Systema spring guide w/bearing ver II- $20 Guarder tappet plate ver II- $14 Area 1000 bushings- $14 Systema metal shim set- $4 Systema gear grease- $10 Systema cylinder grease- $15 Systema hopup bucking- $16 Systema Long Genuine motor- $40 = $339 (not including shipping/tax) I post the bear essentials later when I'm not tired.. ^note not all of that stuff is necessary! EDIT: i cant sleep! Still good parts! But just less and cheaper! Systema helical gear set ultra torque up- $115 Systema m120- $16 Area 1000 bushings- $14 Systema aluminum piston head w/bearing- $20 Guarder tappet plate ver II- $14 Systema metal shim set- $4 Systema gear grease- $10 (optional) Systema cylinder grease- $15 (optional) = $208 with greases/$183 w/o Or...... You can just purchase your G3SG1 (they don't carry a G3a3) from airsoft extreme and purchase a upgrade kit for them to install. TM Sg1- $300 Extreme Durability Upgrade Level 2 (330-415fps)- $185 or Extreme Durability Upgrade Level 1 (330-400fps)- $120 = $485 or $420..or + Classic Army G3 Metal body-165 installed = $650 or $585 (might as well if your going to shell out his much for a upgraded TM. Note: someone tell me if I missed something, And if this is wrong don't flame or be mad, I'm tired and going to bed... Long day...

Long day... Eh, not really, a bone stock EG100 can handle the M120, if he has torque gears. For 400fps, on MiA, they suggested the following for me: Prometheus AEG Spring MS120 - $ 12.00 Prometheus Double Torque Gear Set (Comes with shims) - $81 Prometheus Hard Piston - $ 31.00 Systema Oiless Metal Bearing Bushings - $ 13.00 Prometheus Metal Piston Head With Bearing or Prometheus POM Piston Head With Bearing - $20.00 each And maybe a Systema Shims Set for $3.00 (Add grease) Sure you can spend $300+ on the gearbox, but that's if you want to be able to use it to chop down a tree also. *Not flaming you Gimpy, *

Yes, your right he could, to some circumstance. Easiest route, but it may not be the MOST durable, but for the price, couldn't beat it. But unfortunate for him, they don't make an SG-1, only the CA33 (which you stated), but if I am as sure as I think I am, it's not compatible with G3 varianted magazines. Downside...

Wouldn't be the most 'durable' but it would work and last for quite a while seeing if he maintains it well. And doesnt go trying to chop down tree's with it.. Yea they only make the ca33 in a high cap . ^Would be extremly easy! don't even have to install it! But it's not up to us what you chose, mind you! 7jl22sea =$140 metal/$147 POM (not including greases man, looks like you were right about it always being over $100!

screw the double torque gears. It will just make your ROF really really slow. My AK does fine at 400 with just torque up gears.

I'm not exactly sure I want to spend 500 bucks on another gun though, because honestly I'm short on cash. So I might just go with the CA33 and put an M120 in it and see how it works, but I would still rather an SG1, it just seems like its going to be 400 bucks for a gun thats going to be a little above mediocre. Any other ideas? Thanks

Cool, and I dont really need a battery seeing as I already have a 3000 Mah NiMh, so that will drop the cost a little more.
Now I haven't ever ordered from over seas, so how long does the shipping take? Also can I ever send it in for service in case its defective or breaks? Thanks

Well, they accept paypal. Shipping takes anywhere from 1.5weeks- 3. depending on customs. When you order it make sure you have them paint the tip orange. And cover up the trades. Plus I'm sure you can send it back if it breaks while it's still under a warranty of some sort. I think they give like 30day warranty on upgrades I'm not sure though.
