Another update for you guys.

This is a go. I just got off the phone with Brian and he says that we are good to go for June 28. Here's some info I got from him that is probably on here somewhere but it would be good to re-post again:

The place opens at 9:00 am
Games begin at 10:00 am
Games end at 4:00 pm
The place closes at 4:30 pm
Cost is $20.00
MIA rules apply

Brian said that we have pretty much full reign of the place and we can run our own games and they will work around us. I asked him about the issues with that new Taylor ban and he said that he was going to call the city office either today or tomorrow and get back to me on that. He did say that as long as we stay within the set boundaries of the park we shouldn't have any problems.

Can you go ahead and post something on MIA Knief? If you want I can be the PM contact for the roster and I can update it when needed.

I want to wait until we hear about the ban before I put this up on MiA. I'd hate to post an event that results in 40 guys getting their guns confinscated.

Depending on what happens with the ban, the 313th should be making an appearance. But don't fully confirm us yet.

I was just talking with Brian about this and this is what he told me. He said that as long as the replicas are within the parks boundaries we will be fine since the public knows what goes on in the park. Also he mentioned that as far as how he looks at it, it's just a technicality that the city owns the park. He made it clear to me that we have to keep are replicas within the park and outside of that they have to be in their cases and away from sight like we usually do anyways.

Let me know if that is sufficient Knief or if you would like to talk to him in person (his number is on page 1).

Also as a reminder they require barrel condoms when we are in the staging area because of their insurance requirements. If you don't already have one they are really cheap and can be found at most sporting goods stores or you can make your own as long as it works.

We don't know how often we'll be playing here. This was our first game out this year, and I think both M.S.-Arc and I would like to do another one soon, but right now, we can't say when. Just keep an eye on the event section and you'll see the next one posted.
