I was there but didn't play. My question is who had the Violin/guitar case gun?? I saw you shooting it on the road and had to laugh and give you props for ingenuity, I have never seen nor though of anybody doing that. Not exactly practical, but cool project.
BTW I noticed a huge change since red-out, the pre-game parking lot shooting had stopped and safety was being enforced. Wish I could have played, looked like it was a good turnout. Gunslinger what kind of revolver were you running around with?

I thought yesterday was a pretty good game, the first game we played (recover briefcase from bus) was dumb because the field is way lopsided, but at least it didn't last to long. I had alot of fun during the second game in which I got 9 kills and 3 deaths. My favorite part was in the begining when me and dirtydan hid on the right side of the field and took out about 6 guys before getting raped by the rest of the team lol great stuff.
It was a good time for my g36 to break down (waiting for some new wiring to come in) because I got to use dans mp5 which lead to me wearing no gear (camo pants, T shirt, extra mag in pocket). I was able to run very fast which lead to most of my kills.

Just to let you guys know I don't think we need to change the age limit. I notice that most of the younger guys didn't cheat, i found that it doesn't matter the age i saw everyone cheat. You sometimes just don't feel it. I don't think age matters.!!! Other then that the Pistol games were so much fun I loved them.

Yarr! Pics to be posted a little later - I'm at work and my ability to create a gallery page for my pics is limited. I'll modify this post when I get the time. Despite the heat and oppressive humidity, I had an excellent time. Toting around the flamethrower was, in hindsight, a mistake given the punishing weather. During the main woodland game, I sensed myself fading fast from dehydration and spent most of the time taking pics and watching the game develop. That was probably a good choice, considering I drank a gallon and a quarter of water and it didn't seem to do much good. If I have any major complaints about how SEMIA Monthly V was run, it would be the lack of organization. Confusion as to goals, team affiliation, and some of the more basic rules was rampant. I can't exactly blame El Phantasmo, as he's only one guy. I felt like the only thing needed to make the event perfect was a better organizer-to-participant ratio. With a younger crowd in attendance, self-regulation of the kind you might see at the old ACO field is simply not present. Complaints aside, there was plenty of fun had by me. It was good putting faces to [forum] names, and seeing some familiar ones, too. [EDIT] I made a pics post. Check here for it.

Well knief wasn't around which may have added to the un-orginization. Everyone tends to not like knief, but I think thats just because he is the authority who has to set and enforce the rules.

Agreed. Knief is unliked by some people because he tends to be more serious. The last games with him have been a lot more organized.

one thing though about the cheating is that some guys are lobbing bb's 60 yards at people. Its a pretty decent sized field and i see guys with their gun angled like its an antiaircraft weapon... so you cant really claim someone is cheating for that.
I did however notice one specific guy who i havent seen before. This was the guy who chipped Embeds tooth. We saw this guy rush to this bunker and Myself and Embed threw 10 or so rounds each at him from a maximum 20 feet away (keep in mind we have this guy at an angle where the bunker isnt there, so we have a clear shot at him) we hear the bb's whack off his Ghillie type pants and then he drops down out of our sight. Peeks back up and fires at Embed chipping his tooth, at this point i was rather upset this kid cheated then proceeded with the chipping of my good friends tooth. I stand up and throw another 5 or 6 rounds on full at him from 15 or so feet then he runs away.... pathetic.

Amen. I put at least 15 rounds into that guy. Then I peeked out real quick to shoot him and hope that this time he called his hits then BOOM. I was like "SHIT! HIt! My fucking tooth is gone!" And then I walked back with El, freaking out about what my mom was going to say... and I was right. She fucking flipped. Today I went to the dentist, she said I need a root canal so she sent me over to a Root Canal Specialist and they did an amazing job.. I was on the verge of a panic attack so my mom gave me some valium, then they gave me nitrous oxide at the specialist's. So right now I'm pretty fuckin' loopy. It's awesome. I didn't feel a thing, it was actually somewhat fun. The doctor was in the Marines and told me about how they used MILES gear in training after I told him some airsoft war stories. So yeah.. this was and still is going to be expensive. I'm going next week to get my tooth finnished and bonded so it looks like new.
EDIT: Pain killers are wearing of.. my mouth and my head are fucking throbbing. owe..

Ah yes the chipped tooth. My front tooth broke in half chewing a straw, after it was cracked in Iraq. I had the same stuff done to it that you had done, it's amazing the work they can do. There is only a slight difference in color, but its still comforting to know that you can get your grill fixed if it gets shot out. So smile away while you are blasting people......as long as you have insurance that is

Keifs presence was greatly missed. Hes a much better organizer than I am. I'm mostly the contact man and thundering "lets get it going already" voice I apologize now for most of the small shortcomings. Mostly in communication to the new faces. We have a LOT of regulars at our monthlies, and most people know how we roll (field pickup rules, carry rules) We could have had another AEG game, but the rain really slowed us down. Pistol games are A lunch break tradition for us, and not too many people packed a lunch this time (including me, and I usually get an MRE at Harry's. Dan telegraph cruze ). I really wanted to share that fun with all of you. I'm glad everyone had fun in spite of the shortcomings. As of now we are at a turning point for our monthlies. Due to FB's insurance and our games growing, we may have to re-locate. {b]DON'T[/b] discuss it here, I'm going to start a new thread about it. And Jumprefusal, why did you not come up and say hello and shake my hand DAMMIT

Boggles the mind that people still have problems with the basic rules. We need a bit more enforcement of verification that everyone knows the rules, killrags especially.
At the next game, during the briefing, could you please mention the one hit kills and mandatory kill rags? Also, the holding up kill rags for confirmation was a good idea. No killrag, no playtime.
