We got 2 of our guns upgraded and chronographed them. On gun with an M130 fired at 410fps according to you 300fps and another gun was 380 with an M120 and according to you 245. My G3 has a fresh Systema Mecha-BOx with M120. SHe chronoed 380, not 405 like I hoped. As for going from 380 to 245, the nozzle, bucking, or piston may be wearing out. there is also the O-ring in the cylinder Head.

I don't know but that's a huge difference. Oh maybe it was because they didn't have low caps and said go ahead and use your ammo. Maybe they had heavier ammo. I don't know. End of the chronograph schpeil.

I know for sure my gun chrono'd low. Saturday afternoon I had just recieved it from Francois down in Monroe, Ohio, who chrono'd it 450+ your chrono was about 400 fps.

My G&G Rk104 chrono'd at 360, which is about right. But my new TM AK beta-spetz was at 230 (low) and my friends FAMAS was at 180 (really low)

Some of us think that the chronograph was inaccurate. Oh well at least we only had arms length engagement. Let's get back on topic. Sorry I started this.

Yeah, lets do it again; it was a lot more interesting with the extended field in play.

Not to mention the chrono clocked my MP7 at 60fps, which is impossible. But it is pointless to continue arguing. Chronographs aren't cheap, so if they were crap, there's not a whole lot we can do about it. Also, if you can hit your target effectively, it doesn't matter what the chrono says, because common sense will usually tell people not to use a sniper rifle at a four foot range. The chronos weren't so bad that people got hurt. I wouldn't mind buying an acurate chrono to use in events, so if we're gonna complain, we might as well do something.
EDIT: Whoops, I'm late

God I hope the one I used wasn't low, the chrono put my AK at 405.
As far as I'm concerned though, a chrono that shows people too low is better than one that shows people too high.

The crono I was running (one on the left at the end) was dead on. My old AK crono'd at 398, just like it always did.

Gestapo, I think I used yours. Not sure what you look like but mine is the plain jane AK that chrono'd at 390 something and 405.

My gun was all over the place, it was at 370 then 425 then 410. But I think that's because it was a new spring(Just found that out). So Gestapo I think I will be fine.

Alright, now that we've stopped complaining about the chronos, we can move on. What we've come up with so far is that the event should be a tad smaller, have clearer leadership, have more distinct uniforms on both sides, and possibly get rid of the Americans. We've had enough cases where the Americans have fought someone else war...
Personally, I like CQB. I was a little disappointed that there really wasn't any CQB areas on the field, and the discription implied that there might be. I think city fighting would make the battle a bit more realistic, considering that we'd probably be fighting for the capital. It doesn't have to be anything spectacular; after all, we're dealing with Nebrushia, but some building-like complexes might spice things up.
One thing that I found kind of ironic was that the Democratic Army of Nebrushia seemed to be the most heavily-armed, with lots of U.S. gear and state-of-the-art weapons. Most likely, the DF would not have that kind of armor and firepower, and nor would the RA. However, there's not a whole lot anyone can do, because not everyone is gonna want to use just an AK, and no one is going to give up their radio systems, ammo pouches, and the rest of their gear (me included). Any ideas?

The speedball fields aren't exactly CQB, but would you have preferred if we made some of those objectives?

Well, there was a flag pole to be taken in the big spool field. Just, nobody wanted it.
