I dont see it happening because the place they use is an actual training base already setup. there is no need to build anything. The only chance this would work is if you were given a place that already was built. It takes alot of money and time to build a mock city. even with people helping out for free that doesnt include the building materials that would be needed to consruct it.

I'd put a lot of my own money into it if I got a place to build some buildings... If we all work on it then maybe we could get a good OP this summer. The biggest problem right now is we need a place where we can build. Maybe even make buildings that we can disassemble and bring them to different OP (that might be difficult though)
We can all pool in what we can to get wood and stuff to build a mock city. I know this would be difficult and would take time; but I'm up to the challenge. If we really want to then we can do it.

I have a friend who has a US Army Duce and a half and will bring his truck to the event. Sice he is part of a Great Lakes US Military Motorpool Club he could probably get a few Jeeps, Trucks and maybe Humvees out there.
Here is what I'm thinking about # of people: 40 civilians 74 Sammies 45 Rangers 20 Delta Operators 4 Aircraft Crewmen 6 of Adid’s govt. officials.
(Keep in mind this is ALL open to change and I'm just talkin')

I would help organize, build, setup, and if needed chip some money in.

Doesn't the Oakland County's Sheriff Department or some law enforcement group have a huge training complex in Auburn Hills? Someone should look into that. EDIT: It's the Combined Regional Emergency Services Training (CREST) center www.oaklandcc.edu/crest/

Yeah maybe we could do something like if you donate money or materials you'll get paid back with the money made by the tournament. Doesn't the Oakland County's Sheriff Department or some law enforcement group have a huge training complex in Auburn Hills? Someone should look into that. I'll google that.

I live right next to Oakland, but no idea (or even heard) of a training complex in Auburn Hills. I will ask around though.

How much would it cost for us to buy some totaled cars from a junk yard for props?

Probably cheap (wouldn't the junk yard be happy to get rid of them), but transporting them would be most likely the expensive part.
But we would have to make them safe, so no one would get hurt. (make sure no poles, or rods, or sharp objects are sticking out or anything).

Well I have a good size trailer. Our biggest problem right now is finding land. We need about 20 acres. For a CQB event.

for the junk cars you were talkin about, if you look hard enough, you could get some for free from friends. Or pay 20-100 bux per car.

Well that’s awesome. So far, I have a few teams that are willing to help with construction. I have a bunch of people offering to donate materials. I might have a few military vehicles coming for a convoy. I found out insurance for a two-day event will cost about 400 to 600 dollars. I know I will be able to get enough people to come.
I'm thinking of using the same rules that we used at OP Red Out. I loved the medic thing. I liked the FPS engagement limits. I liked the red rag thing. The only thing that I would change is the mag limit. I would have a 700 round limit; but I'd change the one hi-cap rule because it's not fair if you have a MP5 as in comparison to an AK47. I also would change the respon. I found that some people cheated with the time limit. Therefore, what I would do is something such as: every time there are 20 people, they can respon together or something like that.
I'm thinking we should charge $50 for admission because a two day event like this would be worth it. Also it's going to be an expensive tournament... Moreover, to all who help build the Moge or donate materials they will have first dibs on slots (such being a Delta Operator) and discounts.
The only thing I need now is land! Today after school I'm going to go look around for land.
