Thats pretty sweet that you got a place up there. Everytime I go up, I think of how great it would be to get a good size game going in the woods up there.

We've got 30 acres, could be good for some small games, 'could maybe even use my property as a SEMIAUTO Staging area for an OP up north.

Now, this is only a guess, but it's probably because King is a 16 year old high school student, and doesn't actually own the land himself. It's probably his parents' or other family member's land, and the real owner probably isn't very interested in playing airsoft, and is probably more interested in his original intention when he bought the 30 acres.
...but that's just a guess.

I still think it's a bad idea to buy land at this point without a longer term plan than "hey let's reenact Black Hawk Down"

No no no no no Psychosis. I do NOT plan on buying land.
Unless anyone would donate 6 digits. I'd really enjoy that. ;D

Any news on that training facility? That sounds pretty cool.
Hey if anyone has seen the movie "National Security" (funniest action movie ever) remember the shoot out scene near the end? That would be the coolest place for airsoft ever.
I say we rent or maybe lease some land because I wouldn't want to pay $9999999999 for admission to one op because we had to buy the land for one game. I say we try and rent land from people we know. I bet everyone here knows of at least one old abandon farm nearby that we could use (with owners permission of course).

my *family* has 80 acres up along the two hearted river in newberry (UP), its about 20 miles from the nearest town and pop. densitys about -1 per square mile, only other small cabins surrounding that are uninhabited 95% of the year like ours more thick ass forest small lakes and rivers than could be truthfully thought about using (talking a good 30 sq mile block between non seasonal roads) doubt the family'd be up for that though just saying thats the kind of land we need to look for.
