Currently, permission to use this Farmer Jack has not been obtained. This thread is merely for guaging interest in a possible game if permission is later obtained. It will be at a Farmer Jack located in Fenton Michigan. Closed down, but with all the shelves, coolers, etc. everything still there. Scenario: Swat must gain entry to the building, over come middle eastern coalition, and rescue the 3 store managers and any employees taken hostage, and secure the video surveillance office, and defuse bombs (bomb will be a small, safe, explosive which doesn't expel anything but baby powder which will go off if the bomb is not defused or defuse incorrectly, I was thinking 3 bombs located in the building with a riddle at the bomb as to how to defuse it i.e. roses are red, violets are explosive hint don't cut the purple wire). All 3 bombs will have a different riddle (for explosion I was going to use compressed air with a value, you cut the wrong wire and the valve will open expelling the baby powder all over you) We are working ona deal with the leasing company right now, and discussing insurance also. We are thinking $20 pre-order to pay for the building, insurance, power for the day, raffle prizes. Pre-order's will receive raffle tickets with thge pre-orders and at the doors will not include raffle tickets. We'll get some pizza's and what not, but if pizza isn't your thing there are ton's of places to eat around the Farmer Jack. We will have a pistols only battle and a few other games seeing how we are renting the builing out for 24 hours we plan on using them as long as people stay. Area's of the building will have light and area will not. Think of the size of a farmer jack, We're going to bring a few other props for cover and what not. I just want to see a show of interest. We will have a vendor that is willing to come there selling bb's, batterys, and anything you may need. Player cap: 75-100? Cost $20 pre-order $25 door SWAT/ POLICE vs MEC (Durka Durka's) What do you think? Interest: Asset Chaseman and R.A.T.S.? Jumprefusal M.S.-ARC Ghast Gunman airsoftdvl Mirage +? RAGE kurt19d +6 laxrider +6 Team Caedes +10 El Phantasmo __________ 41ish total

Yes, we are forming up a waiver, pretty much you are respondisble for all and anything that my happen to yourself, I'm having my buddy who is in law school form it up for me. But what do you think about the idea of a Farmer Jack, I'm wondering if it will be to spacious? There will be empty alleys with plain shelves and what not.

Sweeet! I'm game for this, just need a date and time. Being a CQB, you WILL need a chrono there to make sure no hot weapons make it too the battlefield. Out of curosity, what would we use for a staging area? I'd guess you'd use the entrance way, where they have that "double-door" like setup..
Being in an old grocery stroe would be badass..so many places to hide and whatnot, it'd be a blast. It's just too bad you couldn't work out a once a month deal or soemthing, that would be sweet.
The only thing that concerns me, is the baby-powder thign for the bombs..that stuff, even in small amounts, can become a really big mess, and you almost have to wash it out out clothes, and I know I wouldn't want to be running around with "white stuff" all over me all day..
Are you sure you'd want it only CQB? I mean, I could understand no very hot rifles(like the 450fps+ snipers), but with an abundance of still very open and medium-to-long range space, you could almost have a semi-cqb. But just not alow anythign hotter than, say, like 380fps...I dunno, just a thought.. It's still your op, so it's your call what to or not to allow. Either way, it sounds like it'd be a really fun time.

Yeah we have a few more things to work out. The team has a chrono now thanks to Darcness. But the building is huge and of course they have a back room too. They have upstairs office In fact my bank use to have branch there too. It would be the coolest because we know the police. The building has like a long wide front enclosed entrance. then the little swing doors on one side and the larger opening door on the other.. The back room a surprise??? Keep your fingers crossed and we may be jammin... Chaseman www.playerschoiceairsoft.com ( my new site ) please check it out

Either way, it sounds like it'd be a really fun time. First, I was planning on having people enter in from the front of the building and change in the back, there are restrooms and rooms that can be used for changing. Second, I didn't change the bomb thing, I copy and pasted form the original write up we made. The redesigned "bomb" consists of 2 wire which are under tension, one which is attached to a nail on a spring, when you cut the wire the tension is released and the nail pop's a water balloon with just air in it. It will also have to be on the honor system, everyone is a 10-15 foot radius will be "dead" and have to go to respawn. This is the "working bomb." Lastly, I thought about raising the FPS, because of the aisle with nothing in them. We also have alot of really close firing area's, where there are few long distance area's. I was planning on bringing some other props in the morning of to place in the middle of though's long range shot's, I figure people will move up on the barriers and cut the distance down, i.e. tables, doors, etc. But 380 is possible... "Pain is weakness leaving the body!" What do you think, Also if you plan on coming pending the date please voice it here. If i don't get a good interest I'm not going to front the money for the building. Renting a grocery store isn't cheap. Im in for this! You might want to add no SMoke bombs or no pyro's their correct? GEt a wavier and a date and im thier. Correct the building if fully enclosed, not to mention there are company's attached to this building, i.e. Michael's, Cash'n'Go. We wont be able to have any pyro stuff. We are going to have to maintain respect for the property and the neighboring business'' seeing that they may be open for business as well. If we can establish a good reputation with the people we are renting from we may be able to easily rent other empty properties from them monthly. That's what I'm hoping for.

I'm good to go pending the date, waiver and permission. I also feel the need to remind you to vacuum all the BB's up, assuming this store will be built into an actual store after we're done.

Sounds good to me.. I think it'd work great. There could be a lot of CQB fun, and then some. You could have be ranged battles in the "not-so-cqb" areas. Cuz there iss till a lot of space between the aisles and the back rooms, and the aisles and the front wall, as wella s in the vegatable area, where everyhting is pretty much small tables.. Also if you plan on coming pending the date please voice it here. If i don't get a good interest I'm not going to front the money for the building. Renting a grocery store isn't cheap. Do you have a projected date and time? How much do you need upfront to rent this place out for the day? If we can establish a good reputation with the people we are renting from we may be able to easily rent other empty properties from them monthly. That's what I'm hoping for. That would be awsome. We definately could use an indoor winter place to play at here on the eastern side of the state. I also feel the need to remind you to vacuum all the BB's up, assuming this store will be built into an actual store after we're done. I doubt it'll ever be used anytime soon...All the out of business Farmer Jack buildings in my area have just sat dormant since they closed. ...if this does end up happening. There's gonan be thousands of bb's...everywhere...
