If I ever built an airsoft tank, I would put bb traps ( like the ones used for target practice) on all the sides. Those bbs would all go to the same place which would activate a switch when enough bbs had been shot into the trap. This switch would stop the tank and its guns. I know the switch would have to be activated at a really low weight so that bbs could activate it. I have heard "dunk tank" ideas but those make it to easy to kill the tank, also you could hit a branch and hit the switch. Also people could just run up and push it. So what do you think of this idea? It would be cool to take a used golf cart and use it for this. I would get one with seats in the back instead of golf bag holders. This way you could have people be transorted on the outside of the tank. It would be even better to do this with one of those gator things though.

And then someone has to buy a trailer to transport it... meh... Trailers are simple. easy to build, repair, and mod. Anytyhing that can support a small lawn tractor should take car of a golf cart. If it doenst have electric brakes, it should. The're easy to add

You can't just build a trailer out of two by fours, stick a mini tank in it and hit the road, you need a license plate and brake lights for it.

Maybe this could actually happen, that would be cool.

It wouldnt work, you'd need to have a heavy weight, as so minor things wouldnt shut it off...
I am going to say the minimum is around fifteen pounds of pressure...
now follow my math.
0.2x5=1 Gram (5 bbs) 1000 Grams = One Kiligram 2.2 Kiligrams = One Pound 33 Kiligrams = 15 Pounds 33 Kiligrams = 33,000 Grams 33,000 Grams = 6,600 .2bb's
Who wants to waste 6,600 BB's on a single target, and trust me fifteen pounds of pressure is a light amount.
Hell, Even if you have ten people shooting it, thats 660 bb's per person.

If i remember right, Sams club has a trailer kit avalable. Stiffen it up, and add electric brakes for saftey. I used to repair and fab limos for a living, I also repaired big rig trailers. Somthing this small isn't that big a deal to me, not that im trying to be an arrogant braggart

Maybe some other system could be used. You could use some sort of bb counter. Any ideas?

I have a fully enclosed trailer used for my dad's corvettes. I also have a flatbed, and a GMC Truck with a 8 ft flatbed (I think).

Is it like a race trailer?. the flatbed might be best. We COULD load it into the bed, but that would be more difficult than the flatbed trailer

Well, a quick search of eBay and on there it seems carts start around $300 and go up to 2 grand! So there is potential here but we still need 1)cash 2) a system to kill the cart 3)a place to store. By the way we could get it cheaper than off ebay with a little looking around.

how about an armored car like thing, you wouldn't have as much work to do on it, and we could cut a hole in the top for a person to stand, hu not sher how safe that would be (just don't roll it)
