Well it was just a thought. We could run a game every other Saturday to start. As far as the drywall goes I believe its all covered in that textured heavy duty wallpaper type stuff, the doors are steel and the floors are linoleum tile for easy sweeping. The building was for sale for quite a while and last I heard the city was going to buy it for a new municipal office center but backed out at the last minute. It sure would be nice to find someplace to play indoors all year round.

Hey, good to be at SEMIA (im a oldsk00ler from MiA). Ima be heading out to Oakland University next year so I'll be in the heart of all the SEMIA action, figured I'd get acquainted with everyone here before hand . But.. on the note of a SEMIA CQB facility, I know there are 3-4 buildings that are for sale in Roscommon/Bay City. 2x schools and some others.. They were for sale for years, but the city is just holding onto them now, they are small, so it would be great for a smaller SEMIA even (certainly no OP:Irene). I can talk to the city about it, if anyone is interested.

Well El, I wasnt implying we should purchase the buildings. Im sure it would be possible to strike a deal with the township to rent out the building, with $5-10 admission per person, and pay the rent with it. (but of course, a few people (lets call them beneficiaries) will have to chime in with a bit more.) The buildings that my friend pointed out to me would be I D E A L. But I am too young and unstable to get myself into something like that So I'll live it up to you mature, responsible, and much more financially stable (hoepfully!)... adults...

You're going to have to give us contact info for the realestate company that's trying to lease the building, as well as an address for us responsible (pff) adults to do anything about it.

new member long time player. i have been looking for a place to play indoors for some time. now i dont know how many of you are in the flint city limits or close by but down town flint has some cool looking buildings that are more than 4 floors if any one would like to check it out that would be cool. unfotunatly i cant get involved due to my lack of money. now i know they would be fixer upers for the most part but like i have been reading if people were to pay like 20 or 30 bucks to play for like 8 to 10 hours during the summer and spend a few weeks between games building we could all be in for some damb good wars. and on a highers note some of the local F P D in that area would probly like to play there too. so we could have there backing aswell

I just found this board off of MIA.
Anyways. My friend has a band who rented out a two story office building for his band. It was only $200 a month.
Its kinda in the slight ghetto on 10 mile in Mt Clemens I believe. But you want that realistic feel of real gunshots right? Just kidding its not really a bad area.

Lol Something like that in the middle of the Clem will most likely not be a good idea to have what looks like armed men inside of it. Who knows though, you may have stumbled onto a gold mine. Do you have any more information on it?

I can get us in there cheaper if you want, my buddy runs the paintball there. It is really painful, they use rubber balls in rebound, they are paintball gun's with rubber balls so the cost can stay down, anyway we could rent the place out cheaper through him.
